Bathory - Blood on Ice The album itself is a perfect example of Viking metal. The album's story is about viking beliefs. Quorthon manages to creates an adequate epic ambient, with war sounds and very strange noises. Quorthon has a great and varied voice, no grunts or screams (lol waldo). You can also hear some of his old satanic addiction.
Holy shit I was expecting a cat being raped vocals... but i don't know where to put this album in my collection... I fitted it on HEavy Metal... the best songs are kind of in the middle
